Microsoft invited The Daily Show host, comedian, and author, Trevor Noah, to come speak about his book Born a Crime for their "Outside In" speaker series.

My team filmed a backstage interview with Trevor as a pilot for the Microsoft Backstage webseries. We got his take on workplace culture topics like the importance of diversity, why it’s okay to be wrong sometimes, embracing being underestimated, and hypothetically, if he became a Microsoft employee tomorrow, what he would like to work on.

As Director of Photography, I was responsible for putting together a creative treatment to be carried out through the entire series and to lead our creative team on set.

The Microsoft Backstage pilot was picked up as a recurring series on the Microsoft Life platform. I worked on two additional episodes with Jesse Williams and Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya, and the series has continued on to feature other high-profile guests like Al Gore, Brené Brown, and Chris Hayes.
